Biologists of UzhNU continue the implementation of the ecological project in cooperation with the P.J. Šafárik University of Kosice

Recently, another expedition took place within the framework of the project “Environment for the Future through Scientific Education”, which UzhNU is implementing in cooperation with the P.J. Šafárik University of Kosice. This time it was about mirror studies of aquatic ecosystems in Slovakia.
A joint Ukrainian-Slovak group of expert scientists (Ya. Hasynets, M. Kryvtsova, I. Slepakova, M. Kolesarova, P. Luptachyk) studied the localities and took samples at the monitoring sites. The studies include a rapid assessment of water parameters using purchased portable equipment and subsequent study of samples in laboratories. The project involves not only the evaluation and scientific analysis of the results, but also the integration of methods and results into the educational space for the conscious formation of an ecological worldview, exchange of experience and plans for joint research
